Load cells can be defined as certain type of electronic devices whose function involves converting certain amount of force into electrical signals. They have a crucial role in converting a certain amount of force into measurable electrical output. However, their uses include measuring shear forces, compression, tension and bending. In short, we can use it whenever the requirement for “force measurement” arises.
